GLORAD-How to get there

Take a metered cab. Show driver the Chinese card below or say "Tsinghua Daxue Dong Men" (Tsinghua University, East Gate). The ride is about 80 RMB (1.20 RMB cab) or 100 RMB (1.60 RMB cab) and should take about 40 minutes (this includes an airport expressway fee of 10 RMB.) You will take the Airport Expressway to the 4th ring road (Bishihuan-lu), leaving the ring road at Exit 32. Tsinghua University East Gate is about three blocks north from this exit.

By car:

Go along the Airport Express freeway from the airport, get on the 4th ring road (北四环) towards the North. Exit #32 at Zhongguancun (中关村), turn right at the first crossing (onto Zhongguangcun-lu), go straight and you will end up right in front of Tsinghua East Gate. Unless you have an IC Permit, you are not allowed to proceed. There is parking in front or behind the UniSplendour hotel to the left of East Gate. Otherwise, park as indicated on the map above.

By bus/cab:

At the airport, take a shuttle for about 16 RMB to YouYi (友谊) Hotel. Here, take a cab to East Gate of Tsinghua University for about 12 RMB. Attention, the airport shuttle operates only between 6:00 to 18:30.

From East Gate of Tsinghua Campus to GLORAD:

The taxi will drop you off at a policed gate. Go past this gate towards the main East Gate. Pass through (usually, identity is not checked). Continue straight past the FIT (Future Internet Technology) Center. Take the left walkway of the park area ("Mall") in front of you. Pass the School of Law building to your left and, somewhat set back, the new School of Public Administration. The next building on your left is the School of Economics and Management. GLORAD is in this building on the second floor (one flight of stairs up) on the right side (the "North" wing), office number N-216.
